Aunt Jac Visits, Summer Begins, 8 Months Old!

Max turned 8 months old on June 1st! I cannot believe he will be a year old in 4 months! Time has gone by too fast! I love this age he is at now though. He is so much fun to do things with! He has been very attached to his Mommy lately, but that is not such a bad thing because I am attached to him that much too! He has been sleeping through the night so well and taking great naps during the daytime. Jac was a big help with keeping me updated on what a typical day is with Max (weekends are always so busy that we never have a specific "schedule"). What else... Max loves to go swimming! He has been swimming in his Puffer Fish baby pool in our backyard, at Uncle Josh and Aunt Sarah's pool (with 4 big dogs), and at our neighborhood pool! He LOVES the water! He learned to climb the stairs (thanks to Aunt Jac). He likes to play/walk around holding onto his new upright walker from Aunt Jac (looks like an elderly persons walker). He is a very quick crawler; sometimes on hands and knees and sometimes on hands and feet (this boy wants to walk!). He continues to be really strong at pulling himself up and cruising around furniture. He says maaa and baaa (what is he a farm animal?). He has been eating finger foods; we are working on learning to pick foods up with fingers instead of entire fist and he has a hard time swallowing (he thinks he will choke on the food). He still LOVES to eat all his baby food though! He really wants to be able to clap and throw Rex his tennis ball. He loves to listen to music in his room and dance. He loves waking up in the morning, eating, and then reading books with Mommy (thank you Summer Vacation so I can enjoy these moments with my baby). Grammy comes to visit in a week and a half...we cannot wait to see her! Scott will take a week off soon and we will most likely spend that time in Ohio visiting friends and family who have only met Max once at Christmas.
